The historic King William district in San Antonio, is the perfect setting for Madhatters Tea House and Café. This trendy, fun restaurant was recently featured on Rachel Ray’s Vacation and has received numerous awards and much recognition. (See below.) The excellent customer service, the scrumptious quality menu items, the easy relaxed atmosphere, and free wi-fi all contribute to the wonderful experience at Madhatters that will bring you back again and again.

They are especially proud of their fresh fruits, soups and salads, yummy desserts and variety of daily burger specials. The sandwiches are fantastic, too, and you won’t want to miss the High Tea (featured below), which provides a sampling of a wonderful variety of sandwiches, bakery items and your choice of a vast array of teas from the simple to the exotic. Sunday brunches are especially fun with the “Bottomless Mimosa” served from 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. (only $13 with the purchase of an entrée).

All guests are welcome to use the extended facilities including the Library Lounge with free wi-fi and tea or coffee, the special Meeting Room or the Garden Area. The owners and staff are all about giving you a great experience at Madhatters Tea House and Café.

MadHatters delicious bagel wich breakfast for under $5

Bagel Wich:

This yummy bagel sandwich changes daily for variety! Pictured above is the Mad Bagel with pepper jack cheese, bacon, fried egg on an "everything bagel". Served from opening to 11:00 a.m. For only $3.99!

Cheapo Lunch:

Options are the Cheapo #1-#5 which includes your choice of one of four sandwiches or soup and salad. Sandwich choices are egg salad, tuna salad, turkey avocado sandwich, spinach and chicken salad or Caesar salad and soup. All sandwiches come with chips and salsa and the salad comes with a soup of the day. All the Cheapos are served with a beverage for only $6.00!!

High Tea for 2 for only $9 a person at MadHatters

High Tea:

This is a two person tea party! It includes tea sandwiches (cucumber cream cheese, spinach and chicken salad, and tuna salad). Also included is a scone of your choice served with strawberry butter and petit fours. Served with a pot of one of our delicious teas of your choice. (Cheese cake pictured is not included.) Also available is a special kids’ tea. High tea is $9 per person.

Burger of the Day:

Burger of the Day: Each day you’ll discover a new special burger! It is always served as a sirloin or garden burger and includes one side. The toppings change daily and include items such as grilled onions, bacon, mushrooms, various cheeses, artichokes, black olives, zucchini squash, etc. The sides are items like black bean and corn salad topped with feta or potato salad, couscous, and more! Enjoy the Burger of the Day for only $9.99!
